Prunus Lusitanica ‘Angustifolia’ (Portuguese Laurel)
Portuguese Laurel (Prunus Lusitanica ‘Angustifolia’) is a slow growing evergreen hedging plant. Portuguese Laurel likes any well drained soil and is tolerant of shade. It makes an ideal alternative to those otherwise looking at Cherry Laurel but who want something prettier and slower growing. The leaves on a Portuguese Laurel are smaller and more delicate than a Cherry Laurel. The stems of the leaves are red.
