English Hedging is a family run company, with traditional Christian values, following on from three generations of nurserymen. We are passionate about growing top quality, instant impact, mature evergreen hedging. We take care of everything from supply and delivery to planting, irrigation and maintenance. With over 30 acres of growing space available on our nursery near Gloucester, and a commitment to honest customer service, we have the experience and capacity to help you with your evergreen hedging needs throughout the UK. We are growers, not importers. The plants we supply are already acclimatised and come straight off the nursery to you. We currently grow and supply Green and Gold Leyandii, Thuja Brabant and Excelsa, Box, English Yew, Common Laurel, Holly, Laurel Novita and Genolia and Portuguese Laurel. We are planting new varieties every year and have around 40,000 plants in stock at any one time. Our aim is to have mature evergreen hedging available throughout the year in all of the common varieties.

We specialise in instant impact, mature evergreen hedging so most of our stock is 1.5-5.5m high. If you want an immediate evergreen screen you’ve come to the right place!
